Mile High Wake Park - Basic Cable Park Information

For the 2012 summer season, we have one cable wake park located in Milliken, Colorado that currently has two, 2-tower cable systems in operation. One system, called our air cable, is set aside for practicing air tricks and learning how to ride. The other, cable, known as our slider cable, currently has (6) six obstacles in place, a 62' funbox, an 80' A-Frame, a double-sided kicker, a Monster, directional kicker, a buoy to learn to olle, and a barrel for perfecting the higher olle.

As consistent demand dictates, we can and will add capacity with additional cable systems, and adjust session prices (lower) accordingly, along with bringing better access to those of you that wish to ride more often. (Daily specials, bonus time, free rides, and free goodies just to name a few!)

Cable Ride Sessions
Cable Orientation and First 1 Hour Ride Session                        $39.00
All cable riders participate in a brief cable orientation and/or a learn to ride lesson on their first visit to Mile High Wake Park, each season. If you can wakeboard or have ridden a cable system prior, the orientation is sufficient. If not, see the cable lesson options below. Regardless of your skill level, our goal is to help you understand what to expect at a Mile High Wake Park and get you started right! We even throw in a free t-shirt and photos to commemorate your first cable ride! Cable Ride Sessions are limited to 4 riders per hour, per cable system. Reservations are not required but are highly encouraged to ensure your spot.

For all first-time wakeboarders (never wakeboarded) the Learn to Ride Lesson directly below is a great value. It's a lesson but we also list it in the Cable Ride Sessions here.

Cable Orientation and 1 Hour Learn to Ride Lesson                   $54.00
Know anyone that quit snowboarding after one try? We do, and we are here to say that with wakeboarding, that won't happen on our watch!! With the best value in all of wakeboarding, the learn to ride lesson is a recommended first step for anyone wanting to try wakeboarding or its related water-sports for the very first time. For first timers and beginners, we take our time to ensure that you understand and learn the basics of the sport that many experienced wakeboarders take for granted, in addition to other elements many are riders not aware of. This wakeboard lesson is specifically designed to provide you with the basics and will cover introductory items such as how to get up on a wakeboard, how to edge and turn, how to deal with rollers or adverse water conditions, how to stop, drop, and settle, and how to get into and out of a wakeboard or wake-ski setup. Learn to ride wakeboard lessons are offered daily at 11am and 2pm and are limited to 4 participants per session. Get started right with the learn to ride wakeboard lesson. Reservations are not required but are highly encouraged to ensure your spot.

Cable 1 Hour Ride Sessions   (Repeat Cable Session)              $25.00
After your first cable ride session or lesson is complete, this is an option for those that want to try it for a second time, or will ride sporadically throughout the summer. Cable Ride Sessions are limited to 4 riders per hour, per cable system. Reservations are not required but are highly encouraged to ensure your spot. Cable Weekday Morning Special                                                  $25.00
A great 2-Hour Ride Special! Valid weekdays only, from 11am - 1pm and includes Standard Rental Equipment Rental. A great value for those that can ride weekdays and/or don't own any equipment. Cable Ride Sessions are limited to 4 riders per hour, per cable system. Reservations are not required but are highly encouraged to ensure your spot.

Add on to Any Cable Ride Session                                               $5.00
As space allows, you may add on to any standard cable ride session for only $5.00, on a first-come, first-served basis ($10 if equipment is needed). Maximize your riding time for as little out of pocket cash as possible! This special is only available if you are a fan on Facebook and a follower on Twitter. Cable Multiple Ride Session Packs
Share, mix, and match your Multi-Session Packs as desired with family and friends. Cable Multiple Ride Session Packs must be used during the year purchased. Cable Ride Sessions are limited to 4 riders per hour, per cable system. Reservations are not required but are highly encouraged to ensure your spot.

Cable Season Passes
Season pass-holders may ride either a maximum of (3) three, 1-Hour Ride Sessions on any given day -or- time and space permitting, may ride during any open session they desire. Season passes are valid from the opening of the cable park, to the year-end close for the year purchased. Reservations are not required but are highly encouraged to ensure your spot. Mile High Wake Park is closed to the public on Wednesdays; only season pass holders may ride on Wednesdays. (If demand dictates, Monday's will be added as another season pass holder day.) Season passes typically go on sale December 1 of the previous year, and have firm cut-off dates for the discounts shown below. However, season pass holders may lock-in current specials and/or pricing with a $50.00 deposit but must complete full payment prior to their first ride session. Season passes and deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. To receive special discounts shown below, pass holder must purchase by cut off date shown, in addition to being a fan of Mile High Wakeboarding on Facebook, and a follower on Twitter. Cable Rentals (Cable Operator / Instructor Included)
During a Cable Rental, the number of cable ride sessions will vary depending on the skill level, fitness level, and duration of each ride within your group of riders. Regardless of the number of participants, an accurate way to estimate time on a cable system is to allow up to 15 minutes per "beginner" or "first-timer" ride session, or as little as 5 minutes for each "experienced" rider session. This can be organized in any way needed to fit the needs and size of your group.

Wakeboard Camps - Youth Day Camps - Youth Summer Camps
MHW wakeboard camps are both day-only wakeboard camps for kids, and week-long, overnight sessions for all ages 12+, grouped by age and/or skill level. All MHW wakeboard camps are all-inclusive and include lunch and snacks. Overnight camps include all meals. Youth Day Camps are typically 9am to 5:30pm, Monday - Wednesday or Monday - Friday and are the best value of any summer camp out there! Early/late arrival and pickups are usually ok with advanced planning.
