Colorado Wakeboard Lessons Overview - Mile High Wakeboarding

Mile High Wakeboarding™ (MHW) is Colorado's premier wakeboarding school and offers wakeboard lessons, wakeboard coaching, and wakeboard instruction at every skill level. From learning the first-day basics in the best possible learning environment and best possible water conditions, to coaching you through advanced jumps, inverts, and spins, to preparing you for your first contest, our professional wakeboard coaches can ensure you learn safely and in a fun environment. With students ranging from ages 4 to 84, all you need is a willing attitude, and we'll handle the rest.

At MHW, we study from, work with, and learn from the very best wakeboard coaches our sport has to offer, and many have been guest instructors. Wakeboarding is still a growing sport, and we are continually evolving our methods to keep our wakeboard school on the cutting edge. In addition to many of the familiar methods, terminology, and techniques used throughout the industry, we've spent considerable time experimenting, learning, and perfecting our own drills, techniques, and training that ultimately results in a faster learning curve for our students. This experience and know-how allows us to pass along information, drills, and tools to you, using the most proven and current techniques.

Whether you are on the cable (a requirement for all first-time/beginners) or the boat, rest assured that you are in good hands with MHW, and you will have the best possible learning experience. All wakeboard lessons are one on one, and include coaching on land, trampoline, cable, and/or boat - as required. (**MHW also has options available for those individuals that may want to learn in complete privacy or wish to learn using their own boat. We are familiar with and honor confidentiality and other professional athlete agreements and requests (wink, wink) and can easily accommodate your needs.)

At MHW, we provide lessons on the boat and on our cable systems. We will coach you on either, but unless you are at the point where you are jumping wake to wake or above, or working on jumping wake to wake, you will benefit much more from a cable lesson. The learning curve is cut down substantially and there is no faster, safer, or better way to learn, enforce good repetition and habits, or practice a new skill you can take to the boat.
