Colorado has very few gems as far as private water and private lake communities are concerned. Pelican Shores is one of the few noteworthy lakes that is still accessible and is both wakeboard and family friendly.
Pelican Shores is actually made up of two lakes. One on the North side of the river and one on the South. While the South boasts a slalom ski course, the North is more geared toward wakeboarding. At about 2200' long on the longest stretch, it's just about perfect for 5-6 tricks, and more if you are on your game.
