Wakeboard Camps Overview - Mile High Wakeboarding
MHW wakeboard camps are offered in both day-only wakeboard camps for kids, and week-long, overnight sessions for all ages 12+, grouped by age and/or skill level. All MHW wakeboard camps are all-inclusive and include lunch and snacks. Overnight camps include all meals. Youth Day Camps are typically 9am to 5:30pm, Monday - Wednesday or Monday - Friday and are the best value of any summer camp out there! Early/late arrival and pickups are usually ok with advanced planning. See Colorado Youth Day Camps for pricing and other information.
The following description is for our week-long overnight camps.
Are
you the best rider in your group?
Ready to take your riding to the next level?
Stuck in a rut? Ready to move on?

Mile
High Wakeboarding camps are designed for the individual
that wants to advance their riding skills to that next level.
Whether you want to learn the simple basics, inverts, jumps,
and spins, or how to hit a slider, rail, kicker, or fun box, the training is specifically tailored to each individual.
Why
re-create the wheel when learning something new? Sometimes
it's the simplest of things that help you move on and learn
that new trick, such as your hand placement on spins, or where
you pull the handle on an invert. With professional instruction
and perfected techniques and drills, you can learn the next
steps with better muscle memory, half the effort, and significantly less
falls.
A
fundamental understanding of the basics is a very important
part of our wakeboard program. Our program is designed to
not only help you progress during your time with us, but also
to help you create (and stick to) a training program that
will encourage you to advance your skills, long after your
camp is over. You will leave a wakeboard camp with an understanding
of what you came to learn and what you will need to practice
before returning. You will also be able to sharpen your skills
by taking fresh knowledge back home with you and teaching
your friends.
Simply
said, you will receive the maximum amount of professional
instruction, practice, and riding time during your time with
us.
For
advanced wakeboarders only - and/or those that will be riding aggressively
for longer sets, it is recommended that riders be in fairly
good physical shape. You should be able to perform semi-rigorous
activities for up to an hour at a time. Prior to camp, a one-month
program of doing cardio for 45 minutes or more, 5 days per
week, will be sufficient to make the most of your time spent
at camp. All wakeboard camps have limited space.
