Boat Maintenance Course Details - What
You Will Learn
You will learn how to perform basic, routine maintenance items
on your boat. These items include:
•Oil changes (and the equipment you'll need)
•Impeller changes
•Spark plug and wire changes
•Basic check up and tune up items and corresponding time
intervals
•Routine clean up, maintenance, and mold prevention
•How to properly store your boat
•How to winterize your boat

About
Our Course Instructors
All instructors are certified marine mechanics and have a
thorough understanding of boat repair and routine boat and
engine maintenance. This is not a rushed course with a generic
punch list. Some boats have more features and components than
others so this course is tailored to the individual and their
boat. Each instructor is very patient and willing to take
as much time as it takes for you to feel comfortable with
maintaining your boat. No question is a silly one. Our instructors
walk you through each component, step by step, at your own
pace, until you are sure you understand it. The goal of this
course is that you will feel confident enough to perform routine
maintenance on your own boat.
