The wakeboard season is just around the corner! We will open on Saturday, May 26 (Wednesday, May 23 is a bonus day for season pass holders). Be sure to check out our Facebook and Twitter pages for updates, contests, and to win free goodies! Season passes, pro clinics, and summer camps are filling up so be sure to lock in your spots and don't wake-crastinate! Some are already sold out.

No boat? No problem!
Tired of rough water on the weekends? We have that covered too.

Mile High Wakeboarding has created the ultimate gathering place in Colorado to come hang with friends and family of all ages - whether you want to play in the water or not. Check out some of our fun video's below, or click one of the links for hours or more information, or scroll down this page and check out the latest news.

Learn to Wakeboard or Just Enjoy the Beach

If you are looking to learn how to wakeboard (wakesurf, wakeskate, or wake-ski) or feel like bringing your snow, rail, or skate skills to the water this summer, you are in great hands with MHW. That's what we do best and there are several options (as low as $54) to get you learning and enjoying the water this summer! Check out our Colorado Wakeboard Lessons, or give us a call for more information .

If you're not quite sold on getting in the water yet, feel free to come hang out at Mile High Wake Park on any given weekend - it's 100% free. Whether you want to spread out, relax, and read your favorite book, borrow an air mattress to float on the lake, or get involved in a beach game like the high stake championships of bean bag (aka:cornhole), we always have something fun going on and we definitely have your social life covered this summer! (BTW - don't ever play our reigning cornhole champ, Zane Schafer for money - he's a relentless shark!)

2011 WWA World Wakeboard Championships

Congratulations to Mile High Wakeboarding team riders Rachel Orgill and Steve Jones for rocking it big time at the 2011 World Wakeboard Championships held in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 18-21. Both riders brought home the bling!! Rachel had the only stand up run (and smoked everyone) in the Jr. Women's Division and was crowned the new World Champion!!!  And in spite of the most spectacular crash of the year (off the double up - see our YouTube page!) coach Steve brought home a solid 2nd place in the Masters Division. Great job and way to represent MHW !!

The Passing of Our Company Mascot

For anyone who's been to Mile High Wakeboarding in the past few years, you are most certainly familiar with little Sammy dog, also known as Sweet Pea and Baby Bear by mom and dad. Sammy was nearly always on the boat, sleeping under the driver seat and got to tag along everywhere. She was 2 months shy of her 18th birthday. She is very loved and greatly missed.

Milliken Dog Park

Ground was broken in September 2011, so the dog park may be ready for use in 2012! The dog park will be located on the east side of the straight-line cable lake (aka Centennial lake-click pictures below) It will be fenced in with parking, sprinkler lines, water, and a few other basics so you can play with your pup off-leash. The trail around the lake will still be accessible but you'll want to keep your pets on a leash when using the trail. This is a welcome addition to the area.

We are very dog-friendly at Mile High Wake Park and welcome your well-behaved and friendly pup over to the beach at anytime; just be sure to keep them on leash and have doggie poop bags (at the dog park and near the restrooms on the south end of the lake) handy to clean up after your little buddy. If you plan to ride the cable system, never, ever leave your pet unattended and ensure they have shade and water (this is a very big deal to us) so we don't have to be the bad guys and call you out on being a bad pet owner.
